The Eastern District of Texas Comes to New York

On March 22, 2007, the Intellectual Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association is hosting a CLE program titled, "IP Litigation Committee Roundtable: The Eastern District of Texas Comes to New York."

The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas is a hotbed for patent litigation because it utilizes innovative rules and procedures that enable it to adjudicate patent lawsuits in an effective and efficient manner.  During this interactive program, attorneys will learn from our esteemed panel how the Texas Federal Courts have streamlined procedures for patent cases, and how the judges and practitioners deal with pre-trial, trial and post-trial matters, including, mediation, experts, technical advisors, discovery matters and Markman hearings.
